This is an entry for :iconcosmosue:'s seven deadly sins contest, in honor of DA's seventh birthday. As I did a photomanip, this is for Envy.

I've been wanting to try my hand at making a mermaid for a while. When I saw the subject "envy", I thought it would be perfect - a mermaid on a shore, envious of the humans walking around. It started out quite differently, but ended up as this. It took me about four hours to do and I'm quite happy with it.

The green tinge to it of course symbolises envy. As I made her tail a golden tint, I also had to add some gold to the sky to make it balanced. Her green eyes glow a bit (is probably only visible when you check out the big version of it - download it!). I've used lots of stock (see below) and played around with the settings and the colors. An earlier version was a lot greener than this one, but I wanted it balanced.
